Howdy, friends. I know, I have been a bad blogger. Just a little update on what's going on...
Paint Update
FINALLLLLLLLYYYY!
My paint and brushes are hitting the stores!! Woo hooo! The fabulous Ben sent me the pic above after he set up the goods in Art From the Heart in Harrogate, UK. I've also seen them trickle in to many stores here in the USA. Ask for them at your local store, they're shipping NOW.
Book 2
The publication date for second book, Art Journal Courage, has been moved UP to the end of October. This is super exciting because it ensures the book will be in the store by the holidays. The change in deadline caused a ripple effect for everyone, though, as we scramble to adjust to the new timeline. I have an author review sitting on my table right now as we speak. You can preorder the book now:
And don't forget about my first book:
Take a Class With Me in Australia
I've been traveling and teaching a lot, but not doing very many journal pages for ME. I need to fit that in somehow, and soon. I'll be in Australia next, at Pages2Scrap in Tuggerah! Check out my teaching schedule for the link, and come and take a class with me.
The Dyan Escapades
The last couple of days have been absolutely WONDERFUL because I've been able to laugh and recharge with the awesome and incomparable Dyan Reaveley. We've shopped, lunched, and even made awesome progress on a bunch of work that we had to do. Still working today, in fact! We have some plans in the works that we are both excited about...great things are to come.
My Fella
Some of you know that my middle son has been struggling with health issues for a couple of years, starting with some weird parasites he picked up in Peru. This month we finally got some answers (I love Phoenix Children's Hospital) and he is already starting to feel better. Such a blessing. So grateful. That has taken a lot of my emotional energy and extra time, hence the bad blogging. Hope to do better in the coming months.
Is There Any Art?
I do have some pages to share that I've done in classes...need to get them photographed. It's on the to-do list!!
Now, let's go make some art!!!
fantastic!! so excited for all the Wonderful things coming--and especially your new book! we'll be ordering a ton for the store! Can't wait for your visit next month!!

So happy your son is finally feeling better. And that you got answers about what is going on.
Can't wait to have your paint available at Clipper Street. I may try to come by next month while you're there just to say a quick hello to you ;)
Take care.

Excited for your 2nd book release....love the title :-)
Glad you've turned a corner with fella number 2's health - there's nothing worse than watching a beloved go through it and feeling helpless :-( I can just imagine the shenanigans with you and Dy! Glad you enjoyed some down time whilst also getting some work done....ha, that's a bit of a paradox!
