While paint is drying on my assignments, I've been squeezing in quickie journal pages. I'm a big believer in working on several projects at once. I hate, hate, hate waiting for paint to dry...so when a project needs to rest, I set it aside and grab my journals. Sometimes all I do in my journals is smudge in leftover paint or blot a stencil...but at least I'm continuing the creative process without a forced stop.
U amaze me.

Your layers intrigue me!!! I cannot wait to take your classes this weekend at the Ink Pad. See you then.

That is such an good idea that I've never heard before about keeping a journal on the side an using to artfully clean off your current brush, tool, stamps - love that idea. Is that a pen you are using above? Beautiful work.

I just found you and love your blog. Your journal is awesome! I do the same thing I have 2 journals going and use the leftover inks or whatever I am using at the time for background pages in my other journal.

Ditto, I hate waiting for paints to dry! It's intriguing how the layers made everything look great without any other embellishment!
