If you're working on something & not happy with it, it's not done yet. Sometimes you just have to keep layering!

Hi Dina, LOVE your work! I just ordered some Dylusions ink sprays and was anxious to play around with them last night. Much to my surprise, they re-activate with paint or decoupage..... how to you get them to stay put when you're working in layers? Do you hit it with some fixative or something between layers?

Yes, Dylusions will always activate, since one of their properties is
theyre reactive with water. I just sort of know in advance theyll
change my paint layer, and I work that to my advantage. Sometimes I set
them with workable fixatif. However, once you use the fixatif, the
sprays will bead up and you can only paint from that point on.
HTH!

Dina--
Don't know if this is something that you would like to do/be willing to do, but I would love to see in process photos.
I know that you teach your methods as a class, so not all of your secrets, but would love to see some before, middle and after shots.
Especially for those works that you feel like didn't work half way through and then you managed to pull together.
Just a thought.
