Not the best drawing I've done. But this page is what came out after the Sandy Hook tragedy last month. I have no words that would add anything of substance to the solemnity and horror of what happened. I just wanted to express my sadness...and my continued prayers for the families. Now is when it will really get hard, now the spotlight is fading and people are moving along with their lives. I just want them to know I am still thinking of them.

Oh, how beautiful - but yet so sad. Lonely Girl has never been so well named...

WOW. Such emotion. Beautifully sad, if you know what I mean.

I can really feel the emotion of sadness in your beautiful painting. I love how you incorporated your leaves stencil :)

So true about the initial tragedy and then it appears people forget... What a beautiful tribute, Dina! Her face says it all. Wonderful art in your unique style.

You have really captured the mood and the moment here. And good for everybody to know that we have not and will not forget!
