Totally love that you use this old accounting ledger for your girls/faces. Do you apply a coat of clear or white gesso before working the pages or just go for it? Curious and keeping my eyes peeled for old ledgers and writing books.

wouawwwwwwwww...the color....and I have the same question for the gesso or not??? that paper is so thin...how could you pain on it???

Hi...you know, I usually coat the pages with a thin coat of regular gesso. This one didnt get that coating, though, because I had blotted the stencil on it from a previous project. The pages take gesso & paint really well, I havent had a problem with them being too thin.
