I adore Julie and her stencils from The Crafter's Workshop are fab, fab! I was given the Triangle stencil...and once I got started, I couldn't stop! I made lots of art journal pages (even more than I'm showing...you'll probably spot the triangle stencil on more pages in the coming week). Here's the stencil...you can get it in a 12x12 and 6x6 size. I have both & love 'em both.
I used my Stampington stamps on this page. This one looks like a paint store exploded onto my art journal, but hey, that's how I roll:
I cut a picture from a magazine & painted over it to make the figure for this page spread:
This one is grungy...I had blotted the triangle stencil after using it on another page. This is how it ended up:
Be sure to "hop" along to these fab blogs for inspiration!

I love the grungy lady, with the Large Pink triangles, Thanks

this is a wonderful spread, love the magazine image you used and how you painted it!

I LOVE this stencil. It looks like one I would use all the time like I do with the punchinella. I'd have to say that the ones that came the closest to my style would be Ali Edwards and Vicki Boutin. I really loved everyone's projects, especially that cute little tree by Bianca.

Love this stencil and your style of journaling!

Closest to my style would be the gorgeous German Glass glitter Christmas Tree Bianca created. I could see myself doing the exact same thing on my Christmas cards. I also thought that Suze Weinberg did a great job using your stencil to create texture on a picture frame. I love the versatility of this stencil!

I love your art journal page! I have so many ideas in my head now that I can't concentrate at work. Thanks for all the inspriration!

So hard to choose a favorite...but I would say my style is similar to Ali's when scrapping and Christy's when doing canvas. But I love the frame Suze did so I'm going to have to get me some of that Encaustic stuff! THanks for sharing and the chance to win...this stencil is fun so I'll end up with one either way!

Boy, that is a hard choice. I think I liked Vicki's project the best but they were all unique and different. Thanks for a chance to win the triangle set. Haven't found this one in the stores yet. May need to mail order it!

Wow, I love the way you worked/played with the woman from the magazine. I'll have a go at this just as I'm having a blast at the moment with the techniques you describe in the latest issues of Somerset Studio and Somerset Workshop. I'm getting totally addicted.

After looking at each blog post I have to admit that the one that sparked my desire to create with this stencilthe most was this one by Julie. The second runner-up was Dina's painted magazine page. Thanks for all of these ideas. I love these hops and end up filled with creative desire and energy.

I'm probably more of a Suze Weinberg style, however, I thoroughly enjoyed looking at everybody's use of the triangles. I have several of your stencils which are still new/unused. And I have your DVD, Collage Fast & Furious, still in the original wrapper. Guess it's time to get it out. I don't have the triangle stencil and now that I've seen the layers used, I would enjoy having one.

I'll have to go with Christy Tomlinson's project although it was a tough decision. I also really liked the glittery Christmas tree.

It's not an explosion at all! It's a wonderfully vibrant work of art! I love it and how the triangle stencil creates almost a faux folded paper effect. Great job! Thanks for sharing.

EVERYTHING ABOUT jULIE IS WONDERFUL. yOU HAVE BEEN THE ONE WHO HAS FINALLY GOT ME BRAVE ENOUGH TO PUT INK, PAINT, ETC TO PAPER IN MY VERY FIRST ART JOURNAL. My style is still developing but obviously enjoy the same kind of colours and style as Julie with Ali Edwards being a big influence on my scrapbooking and card making style. You girls ROCK
